About me.

I'm Jaime Marques. I'm interested in making software, running my own tools, and understanding how things work.

This website brings those interests together: software projects, self-hosting, and AI tools such as Hermes. It's a place to write in my own words, outside a social feed.

What you'll find here

The journal is where I intend to collect notes about building and using software: decisions, experiments, and things worth remembering. Not every idea needs to become a finished product to be worth writing down.

Self-hosting appeals to the same curiosity: what does it take to run a tool yourself, and what do you learn by being responsible for it? AI tools add another set of questions about how we build and work.

A small, independent home

The site itself is deliberately simple. The writing comes first, the pages are static, and there are no trackers, pop-ups, or accounts to create.

Start with the journal. It's early days; this is a beginning, not an archive of a life already documented.
